Personal photos deserve a clear explanation.

Tryloom is designed to use a shopper photo for one purpose: creating the requested virtual try-on preview. The store's published privacy notice remains the authoritative notice for its shoppers.

What happens to a shopper photo

The supported storefront flow decodes the selected image, removes embedded metadata and sends re-encoded pixels to the configured AI provider. Tryloom does not store the source photo in its application database. Provider-side output may remain available through the provider status API for a limited processing window disclosed in the shopper notice.

Consent and control

The shopper must confirm they are an adult, have permission to use the photo and consent to the disclosed processing before a preview can begin. The preview is a visual aid—not proof of size, fit, fabric behaviour or real-life appearance.

Merchant and measurement data

Tryloom uses the minimum Shopify data needed to operate the app, synchronize eligible products, manage billing and report pseudonymous experiment activity. Retention settings and billing audit requirements are visible to the merchant inside the app.
